Malta is made for love stories. Golden cliffs at sunset, quiet gardens, the sea sparkling in the background. All of it creates a stunning stage for your proposal. Here's an overview of what planning and executing an authentic proposal looks like.

Before the proposal

Every proposal photography booking includes full planning support. Before your proposal, we will:

• Discuss location options that fit your idea and vision

• Choose the best timing based on light, privacy, and crowd levels

• Share exact location pins, parking spots, and walking distances

• Go through real examples of previous proposals at the selected locations

• Plan where I’ll be positioned to stay completely unnoticed / blended into environment

If you’d like to level the experience up, I can also bring a bouquet of fresh flowers, a celebration bottle, help organise a romantic picnic setup through a trusted partner vendor in Malta, You name it, I'll try to help you out as much as I can.

You’ll have clear guidance, simple coordination, and ongoing support so nothing feels uncertain on the day.

During / after the proposal

On the day of your proposal, I will arrive 30 minutes before you. This gives me enough time to set myself up and blend it. This also gives us a buffer in case you arrive slightly earlier than planned.

Once you arrive, there will be no contact between us, so your partner cannot suspect anything (this is why we plan all details in advance).

Once the moment starts unfolding, I begin shooting from a distance, then slowly move in to capture close-ups (the emotions, the reaction, the excitement of the moment). Honestly, most people are so focused on the proposal that they don’t even notice me nearby! It’s like they’re in their own little bubble and that’s exactly how it should feel.

If you opt for an authentic "yes" moment video, it will be filmed alongside your photos. The raw emotions, laughter, and happy tears, ready to relive and share.

Once the big moment is over, I will give you a moment to process what just happened, before we head around the area for post-proposal engagement style photos. I’m not the kind of photographer who’ll make you stand stiffly and smile at the camera. Instead, I’ll guide you with light prompts that bring out real connection.

A few hours after your proposal, you will receive an online gallery containing the "yes" moment highlights, reactions and ring shots.

If you opt for an authentic "yes" moment video, it will be delivered alongside your highlights photo gallery.

Within 3 days, your full edited gallery will be delivered, including the engagement-style photos taken after the proposal.

All images are delivered via an online gallery for easy viewing, downloading, and sharing with your friends and family.

How far in advance should I book a proposal photographer in Malta?

As early as possible, especially during peak travel months. I am always happy to accommodate your requests, and last-minute bookings may be available depending on availability. If you see a date as "unavailable", feel free to reach out and I'll try to make it work or offer an alternative date which might still fit your schedule.

What if the location is crowded?

I have a nice collection of beautiful, private locations. If you have a different location in mind, I always make sure to give you heads up and let you know if the location usually tends to be crowded.

Do you help plan the proposal?

Yes. Planning support is included, from locations and timing to logistics and coordination. If you have a special request, I will reach out to my partner vendors (subject to their availability) and give my best to help you out.

Do you offer proposal videos as well?

Yes. I offer a short proposal video filmed alongside your photos. The raw emotions, laughter, and happy tears, ready to relive and share. Edited in Instagram Reels / TikTok format. You can let me choose a fitting soundtrack, or provide your own favourite song to make it even more personal.
